On The Sea - Jim Flora Wallpaper Tiles
Ahoy! Boats, buoys and seagulls for the nautically inspired. After a year in Mexico as an expatriate artist with his family, Flora returned to Connecticut in 1951 and embarked on a lengthy freelance career illustrating for national periodicals such as Look, Life, Mademoiselle, Sports Illustrated, and Newsweek. The playful boats scattered throughout this pattern are derived from a May 1952 cover for Fortune Magazine.
