Welcome to DesignYourWall.com! We offer a wide range of services including customizing your favorite patterns to your needs, manufacturing and distribution of your favorite wallcoverings, window films, murals, Wall Tiles, Wall Hugs, contact papers, and much more!

By using Design Your Wall, you agree to these conditions. Please read them carefully.

Please Note:
Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email.
Any notifications about your order(s) are sent by email only.
All orders are immediately charged despite availability. Stock checks are available by request only and are unable to be viewed online. We do our best to keep all patterns in stock and available for immediate shipping.


QUICK TIPS AND TERMS: (full terms and conditions should be viewed in their entirety below)
• One discount code per transaction.
• We recommend ordering a sample of all patterns as monitors and images online may vary from the actual item.
Dye lots: Wallpaper is manufactured in batches. Each batch will be given a unique dye lot number (or batch number) that will indicate which batch in the manufacturing process you have received.
If you are placing a 2nd order for the same material, it is imperative that you confirm that the dye lot you need is still available or shading differences may show when two batches are installed. It is the customer’s responsibility to document all received dye lots.
Once confirmed, you can input this information in the customer comment section on your order. If this is not indicated on your order, we will be unable to guarantee that this dye lots will ship.
• Proper surface preparation is essential for quality installations. Surfaces must be clean, smooth, dry and structurally intact before installing any wallcovering.
Glossy and non-porous surfaces should be primed prior to installation of wallcovering.
All primers should dry completely before wallcovering is installed.
A smooth, matte surface is needed for any wallcovering to properly adhere to your wall.
Once hung, claims for labor, shipping fees or merchandise are not accepted under any circumstance, sorry.
• Slight variations in color and texture may occur and are normal. Actual rolls may vary slightly from your sample and are only a dye lot difference discussed above.
• Make sure all measurements are accurate and that your installer has confirmed the needed quantities for your project.
• Design Your Wall is only able to provide recommendations as all projects vary. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm the needed rolls for each project.
The online calculator and any phone conversations will not be held liable as all information should be confirmed by the installer.
• Claims for labor, shipping fees or merchandise will not be accepted for inaccurate recommendations as we are unable guarantee an exact roll count.
• Upon receiving your wallcovering and prior to installation, please examine all goods immediately to make certain the pattern number (SKU), size and quality are satisfactory and as ordered. Claims must be declared within 30 days of receipt, no exceptions.
• Absolutely no claims for labor are accepted under any circumstance.


SHIPPING

• If your order is time sensitive, please call to ensure that stock is available before you place your order.
• UPS and FedEx do not consider Saturday and Sunday delivery days, so please take that into consideration when ordering.
• Weekend orders will not be received until the following business day. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm (PST). All holidays are observed.
• There is a 9am cut-off time to ship same day for expedited orders from our warehouse.
• Goods shipping from a manufacturers warehouse will be shipped out within 2 business days from date of order.
• Please note that any custom digital, print-to-order patterns can take up to 10 days to produce despite the chosen shipping method.
• Regular Ground service will be shipped within 24-48 business hours of receipt of your order.
• If the item(s) are on a manufacturer’s back order we will notify you of an estimated shipping date within 24-36 business hours.
• We do not guarantee any specified deadlines in the customer comment box. It is the customer’s responsibility to time all deadlines accordingly.

  • Sample Orders - United States Parcel Service (USPS)
  • All wallpaper samples will mail free of charge worldwide. Tracking is not available for this shipping method.
    Unless expedited (overnight, 2nd day air or 3 day air), your samples should arrive in about 5-10 days, unless you are an international customer.
    Samples to international locations can take up to three weeks from date of ship.
    All samples mail from our California facility.
    Custom digital samples can take up to 10 days to produce and will be mailed as soon as possible. We may hold your entire sample order for these to print unless you request otherwise.
    Size: Samples can range in size, however, are typically about 12" x 18". Some items may come as small as 5" x 7", however, we do our best to provide the largest sample possible; 24" x 24" if available.
    Please Advise: All samples will arrive folded in an envelope. Adding multiple samples to your cart does not guarantee a larger size sample. You will receive individual samples no matter the amount ordered.

  • UPS Overnight, 2nd Day and 3 Day Air
  • Orders must be received by 7:00 am PST or the order may be considered for the next business day.
    If the goods are stocked at our California warehouse, we will do our best to get all expedited shipments out the same day, however, are not guaranteed. If the item(s) are on a manufacturer’s back order, we will do our best to notify you of an estimated shipping date within 24-36 business hours.
    If your order is for a made-to-order pattern, it can take up to 10 days to produce the product before it is shipped out. We do our best to ship all expedites as soon as possible though. If you are not sure if your pattern is a made-to-order item, please contact us to verify. 1-866-960-3030

  • UPS Ground - USA
  • Once shipped, your order should arrive within 5-7 business days, includes Alaska and Hawaii.
    We use real-time UPS shipping charges for all shipments worldwide. Certain products may have higher shipping charges due to the product’s heavier weight and/or dimensions. All packages are charged freight accordingly.

  • Canada Customers (please read carefully)
  • Your final order total will NOT include any duties, taxes or tariff fees.
    Shipping costs to Canada are processed using real-time UPS shipping freights; no hidden processing charges. Some products may have higher shipping charges due to the product’s heavier weight and/or dimensions.
    We are unable to declare a package to enable a waved or reduced COD charge. Meaning, we cannot mark a shipment as "Gift" or any such declaration.
    Duties and Taxes:
    Your final order total will NOT include any duties, taxes or tariff fees. The final carrier will arrive at your door with a COD (collect on delivery) charge that will need to be paid in order to release the package.
    We are unable to estimate what these charges may be.
    o Design Your Wall is in no way responsible, or will be held accountable, for customs charges, tariff fees and/or duties and taxes imposed by any outgoing or inbound (returns) packages.
    o Duties, Taxes and Brokerage Fees can easily add over $50-$200+ to your order and are the responsibility of the receiving customer to pay.
    Once shipped, orders should arrive within 5-10 days depending on customs clearance. Delays may occur while clearing customs and are out of Design Your Wall’s control.
    FedEx International is available upon request only.

  • International Customers (please read carefully)
  • Your final order total will NOT include any duties, taxes or tariff fees.
    International shipping charges are processed using real-time UPS shipping freights; no hidden processing charges. Some products may have higher shipping charges due to the product’s heavier weight and/or dimensions.
    We are unable to declare a package to enable a waved or reduced COD charge. Meaning, we cannot mark a shipment as "Gift" or any such declaration.
    Duties and Taxes:
    Your final order total will NOT include any duties, taxes or tariff fees. The final carrier will arrive at your door with a COD (collect on delivery) charge that will need to be paid in order to release the package.

    o Duties, Taxes and Brokerage Fees can easily add over $50-$300+ (depending on your final order total) to your order and are the responsibility of the receiving customer to pay.
    Once shipped, orders should arrive within 5-10 days depending on customs clearance. Delays may occur while clearing customs and are out of Design Your Wall’s control.
    FedEx International is available upon request only.

  • Brazil Customers (please read carefully)
  • All above international information applies, however, duties and taxes that will be charged upon arrival of your package could match the cost of your full invoice total on your order. Meaning, the final charge for your merchandise could Double when your order has arrived.
    Brazil has extremely high tariff charges and will be required to be paid upon arrival to release your order.
    o Design Your Wall is in no way responsible, or will be held accountable, for customs charges, tariffs and/or duties and taxes imposed by any outgoing or inbound (returns) packages.

  • APO AND PO BOXES
  • Sorry, we do not ship to APO or PO Box addresses unless the order is for samples only.


    RETURN POLICY

    • We recommend ordering a sample of all patterns as monitors and images online may vary from the actual item.
    • There is a 30% Restocking Fee for All Returned Material unless there is a manufacturing defect. This is standard for wallcovering distribution and is not an uncommon fee.
    • Please make sure all returns are shipped with our Return Authorization Form available here. Absence of this form could result in an incomplete or voided refund.
    • Upon receiving your wallcovering and prior to installation, please examine all goods immediately to make certain the pattern number (SKU), size and quality are satisfactory and as ordered. Claims must be declared within 30 days of receipt, noexceptions.
    • Absolutely no claims for labor or dye lot variations will be accepted.

  • Unwanted or Extra Items
  • Always make sure that your item is returnable and abides by our return policy. If you should decide that you are unhappy with the item you have purchased or you have purchased more wallpaper than you need, you can follow the instructions listed on our Return Authorization Form available here.
    We recommend using a carrier that provides tracking numbers for all returns.
    Please Note:
    o All returns MUST be received within 30 days.
    o All returns MUST be in re-sell-able condition. Unfortunately if your item(s) and their wrappings are returned damaged, we may be unable to provide a proper refund.
    o All returns must come with a completed Return Authorization Form.
    o Shipping charges are not refunded.
    o Customers must return at their own expense.
    o Refunds can take up to 30 days to process and will only occur on the original credit card used for the transaction.
    o Design Your Wall reserves the right to refuse a return.
    o There are NO RETURNS for cut yardage/metered goods, made-to-order or digitally printed patterns or samples.
    o If there is an error on a file that you have provided, we will not be responsible for additional charges on the replacement order.
    o Please be aware of lot or batch numbers. Orders are not guaranteed to match previous orders unless confirmed with an associate.

  • Damaged / Incorrect / Defective Merchandise
  • Upon receiving your wallcovering and prior to installation, please examine all goods immediately to make certain the pattern number (SKU), size and quality are satisfactory and as ordered. Claims must be declared within 30 days of receipt, no acceptations.
    o Absolutely no claims for labor are accepted under any circumstance.

    If anything is wrong with your rolls or purchase, STOP! Do not proceed any further.

    Defective paper is accountable for up to 1 single roll (about 4 yards) of material hung on your wall. If any flaws are detected, do not proceed with your installation. If Design Your Wall has no merchandise to inspect, we are unable to accept claims.

    TAXES

    All California orders will include the state’s sales tax; otherwise US orders will be considered tax free.



    FROM OUR LAWYERS: APPLICABLE LAW

    This site is fully controlled and operated by Design Your Wall, Inc. (referred to as "Design Your Wall").
    By using any of Design Your Wall services, you agree that the Federal Arbitration Act, applicable federal law, and the laws of the state of California, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Design Your Wall.

    By accessing and using this site, you agree to be legally bound by these terms of use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add to, or otherwise alter these Terms and Conditions at any time. Such changes and/or modifications shall become effective immediately upon their posting, so please review the Terms and Conditions posted at this link periodically. Your continued use of the site following the posting of changes and/or modifications will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.


    CUSTOMER’S PRODUCT COMMENTS

    Customers are able to write comments on our products once they have entered their login account. We reserve the right to moderate all customer reviews before posting them. We reserve the right to edit or deny all comments without explanation. The posting of an accepted comment can take up to 3 business days.



    ARTWORK

    Customers must contact Design Your Wall before sending any artwork, so we can make appropriate arrangements for delivery. The customer assumes ALL risk, when sending, receiving, or handing over any type of artwork to Design Your Wall, including but not limiting it to thief, accidental damage, natural disasters, misplacement, etc. We recommend that all artwork to be insured to its appropriate value. We can return all artwork, but the customer must make arrangements to cover the costs in shipping and insurance. Design Your Wall can not store or hold on to a customer’s artwork. If prior arrangements are not made for returning the art, the art will be considered unwanted.
